The first game from developers Airship Syndicate, Nightwar takes place in the universe built by studio lead Joe Madureira in his comic book series Battle Chasers, but it doesn’t require knowledge of the original work. Rather, it’s a role-playing game built for people who yearn for the days of traditional turn-based combat in a richly detailed fantasy world. Dungeons & Survival: Explore rich and beautiful dungeons featuring hand-crafted rooms arranged in random layouts. Use dungeon skills to avoid traps; solve puzzles; battle through hordes of enemies and survive white-knuckle boss battles. Survive, and the rewards are yours: gold, rare crafting items, and epic items. Try each dungeon on one of three difficulty settings. The higher the difficulty, the higher quality the rewards! Character Development: As heroes level up, they will unlock abilities, special perks, battle bursts, gear slots, and more. Each hero has unique weapons and armor to collect and equip. Crafting: Collect rare ingredients to make the best gear available, using crafting stations found deep inside dungeons. Need five Coast Iron Bars, but only have four? Try crafting the item anyway, at a 80% success chance – at the risk of losing all the ingredients put in. Or craft the item with 10 bars instead of 5, with a chance to make an epic version of the item. Randomness and Rarities: The enigma of the Lost Isles means no two dungeons are alike. Rooms move, yes. But so do monsters, traps, treasure, secrets, rare vendors, shrines, NPCs, puzzle elements and resources. Return to a dungeon after successfully surviving once, and the option to change the difficulty is unlocked.
