2015 Chrysler 200 HD

25.02.2015
My rental this week was the 2015 Chrysler 200. It was a decent ride. It’s whole gimmick is the shifter circle. Without that shifter circle, there really isn’t anything that stands out to me. It’s a cute concept, and makes sense. It made me realize that driving any car has become so automatic that I don’t even actively realize when I’m shifting to go into reverse or drive. It’s become such second nature, and strangely enough, turning that dial wasn’t that big of a mentality shift. The dashboard has a few bells and whistles with the cool blue back light and digital display. The steering wheel has all of the cool standard things on it that all modern cars have nowadays. I felt the stereo dash could’ve been somewhat larger. I felt like the operating system of it was like a generic OS, like if you didn’t buy an android or iphone or windows phone, like some other brand. The interior was average. Nothing really spectacular, it was average comfort. Trunk space was decent. The outside of the car looks good, because its brand new. It has nice rims on the tires. It’s got the cool air flow things on the front. The doors were fairly standard. The center console had some uniqueness to it. Had deepness to it too. Definitely a strange parking break. Push start engine Seats were standard. Everything about the car was fairly standard, with the circular shifter being the unique feature. As far as it’s driving and handling. From what I remember it was fine. I remember seeing the speedometer thinking “where in the USA could you possibly go 140 mph?” It’s a presentable vehicle that starts around 21,800. I don’t think I’d buy this for $21,000. This might’ve been a lower end class model. I liked the Chevy Impala LTZ much more (2015 impala ltz starts at 27,000). I don’t think it is fair to compare the two. If I had to choose etween them, I would spend the extra 6000 to get the Impala. I also did not have any car envy for this Crysler 200 over the 2011 Toyota Camry I currently own. They felt comparable. That’s my car rental video for the week. Check the car playlist for other car reviews. I’m not a car enthusiast and am a car noob when it comes to features, I just rent a lot of vehicles. How do you feel about the Crysler 200?
