Microsoft Lumia 650: Microsoft launches Lumia 650, a $199 Windows 10 Phone HD
Microsoft has launched Lumia 650, an impressive Windows 10 phone with an affordable price tag of $199. Microsoft Lumia 650 comes with five-inch OLED Display and aluminum frame. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 212 Quad-core 1.3 GHz processor and supports 4G LTE network. Main camera is 8 megapixels while the front camera is 5 megapixel wide angle camera for better selfies. The phone features 16GB of storage space and 1GB of RAM. Microsoft is pushing Lumia 650 as a Business phone. The Lumia 650 fits perfectly into the enterprise with built-in support for Microsoft business applications, new third party Universal Windows Applications like Uber, and one click setup of common everyday tools like Office 365. It also allows IT to test the latest Windows 10 Mobile updates against critical line of business systems and apps, before you distribute to end users via MDM. Lumia 650 comes in as only the third Windows 10 Mobile phone in the markets after the Lumia 950 , and the Lumia 550 which were released last year. Microsoft has almost lost the battle to other smartphone vendors as the company witnessed 49 percent decline in phone-based revenue last quarter. The quarterly sales declined from 10.5 million units to 4.5 million units. The Lumia 650 comes in matte black and matte white, and will become available in select European markets.
