Bruder Jeep Wrangler TJ RC conversion 02520 HD

This video shows how to convert the older Bruder Jeep Wrangler unlimited to RC using a WPL C14 Toyotal Hilux truck as a donor vehicle for the steering servo, transmission axles and wheels and Spektrum radio control. The video is quite long as it shows a full guide on the conversion, to help others who want to try this - or something similar - themselves. This conversion is generally quite straight-forward, although it requires quite a lot of accurate cutting of the Bruder chassis which must be done carefully for good alignment and function in the finished model. Overall I was very pleased with the result, giving me a nice looking model with reasonable on and off road capability given the limitations of its size and quality of components used.
