Reopening of schools: Weekly rotation system for physical classes HD
The Education Ministry will implement a weekly rotation system for primary and secondary school students who can return to schools starting Oct 3. Senior Education Minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin said the system is implemented to control the number of students in which only 50 per cent of the total enrolment can come to school at one time. The system, he said, is also to minimise the level of risk of Covid-19 following the prevelance of highly contagious variants associated with the virus. "Following the implementation of this rotation system, the students in a class, for example, will be divided into two groups - one in class while the other to continue with home-based teaching and learning (PdPR). "Students learning from home will be informed on the topics they need to learn and available supporting materials such as YouTube and DidikTV. "After a week, those who have been attending physical classes will undergo PdPR and the rotation continues until the end of the schooling term," he said in a press conference today. ---------------------------------- #NST #NSTTV visit us at www.nst.com.my our Facebook www.facebook.com/nstonline more news at www.twitter.com/NST_Online and also www.instagram.com/nstonline
