Intelligentsia Classic Black Cat Espresso (2-27-10) HD
Intellegentsia Black Cat espresso pulled on my Quickmill Anita using my Baratza Vario grinder. 17g dose, 199F at 9-bar brewing pressure Sweet chocolate, buttery honey body and soft finish, delicious espresso! Sorry for the dark video and occasional auto-focus. Overall shot was pretty good, ran for quite a while (coffee is super fresh only about 2 days old). Grind could be a little tigher. Brew ratio was right at 51% which makes the shot a normale. Overall a nice shot. Distribution is spot on and done completely by the Vario. Grind into basket and tamp (nothing more). Vario is amazing!
