Aeropress Coffee Maker - Inverted Method (How to) HD
In this video, we show you how to brew a single cup of coffee in an Aeropress Coffee Maker, using the Inverted Method. Don’t worry about being too precise. The most important thing is you use fresh ground quality coffee. The method of brewing used in this video is the inverted Aeropress method-upside down, compared to the way Aerobie Aeropress suggests in it’s manual. 1. Start with fresh ground coffee at a medium to fine grind. 2. Insert chamber over plunger and stand the Aeropress up, with the plunger end on the table. 3. Put 12-18 grams of coffee in the chamber, or 1-2 scoops. 4. Heat your water to 175-200 Fahrenheit (80-96 Celsius). Below boiling temperature. Add about 100-120 grams of water, then stir. 4. Fill the chamber with more hot water, up to about 200 grams total. 5. Put filter into filter cap and rinse under water. Then screw in filter cap. 6. Invert Aeropress and place it on the top of your coffee cup. 7. Press down for about 30 seconds. Remove the Aeropress. 8. Optional: add more hot water to dilute the coffee, depending on your own preferences.
