They had gotten by, however, with Marcus Camby carrying their offense, which did not seem likely to last all night. They were getting the ball to the rim, scoring well enough to lead through much of the half. Eventually, however, it seemed certain they would have to find their shots. The Suns began the second half by mixing Nash back into the offense, running him around a screen for a 3-pointer that gave him his first points of the game. With that taken care of, the Suns put in a rush of layups before a Dudley 3-pointer for the lead just 3 minutes into the second half.
