(READ) Since April 2014 I have been using the ProLite X2775HDS 60Hz as my primary monitor (And had no intention to play any games on it. Because by my research, the conclusion that it would suffer extreme ghosting (not good for gaming). But I tried it anyway and yes this amount of ghosting could have easily coursed headaches and nausea. BUT WAIT check with the manufacture to see if your VA monitor has a "Overdive" feature that reduces the effect of ghosting. So if you combine this feature and for you to spend about 1 week to get comfortable using a VA monitor. The ghosting is no longer noticeable and that is why I and anyone else can play games on a VA monitor and i play competitive on FPSers.
