This VLOG SERIES is following my EXAM STUDY and PREPARATION for my FINAL MED SCHOOL EXAMS. Medical abbreviations are a part of it. Here’s a list of the abbreviations featured: + Hx = history (as in, ‘patient history’) + PHx = past history (as in, the patient’s past medical/surgical history including interventions, current medications and allergies) + SHx = social history (as in, the wider aspects of the patient as a person relevant to their presentation - home, work/study, recreational activities etc., alcohol, smoking and illicit drugs) + FHx = family history (as in, family history of medical conditions) + Mx = management (as in, a plan of what we will do to manage the patient from here.
