Thirlmere steam fest day two 2015

On the day of the steam festival the power house museum locomotive 3265 replaced 2705 on the buxton shuttle. Later in the morning the Garratt 6029 pulled out from where it had been left on display, travelling up to Picton assisting the Thirlmere flyer up the steep grade. After the "Pig" 36 class was removed from the consist 6029 joined the train again and the Lachlan valley railway locomotive 3237 coupled to the other end before leaving on the northbound to picton, one of these trips which I had the pleasure of being on.
