Nickel Plate Road Steam Engine #765 , passing through Berea Ohio on Sept 18 2019. Built in 1944 in Lima Ohio, it ran passengers and freight until it was retired in 1958. Restored in 1979 and completely overhauled in 2005, #765 is 802,500 lbs of pure raw power. It was headed from its home in Ft Wayne Indiana to begin two weekends of passenger excursions through Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
