Quick acceleration test with a facelifted Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TDI (177hp, 380Nm), 7-speed DSG transmission and 4Motion all-wheel drive. Finally Volkswagen replaced the "old" 170hp TDI with the 6-speed DSG by this revised 4-cylinder diesel with 7-speed that is directly carried over from the Audi Q3. One one side this new engine delivers more torque but also runs smoother and quieter than the previous one. The 7-speed S-Tronic also helps to save fuel an makes the car more sporty and agile. I think this is pretty quick especially if you consider that this kind of car can also pull a big horsetrailer;-) It comes as a "LIFE" edition and runs on 18 inch wheels.
