Before an airplane take-off the pilot has to perform an EI which stands for an external inspection of the airplane. Meet SAS pilot Robert Gustafsson who began his career at SAS in 1986, and see how he gets an airplane ready for take-off. Robert Gustafsson currently flies a Boeing 737. It is necessary to do an EI before an airplane takes-off and in this video the SAS pilot Robert Gustafsson shows us how it is done! Before an airplane is ready for take-off the pilot has to check the shock absorbers, the wheels and the metal on the frame. Afterwards the wings and engine must be checked as well.
