(Extreme Demon) “Breakout” by Surv & nwolc [Mobile] HD

I knew this level was hard from the start but I didnt know it was THIS difficult judging from my personal experience. The second half felt a bit of an insane demon but it has a few chokepoints that overturn my thinking that this was easy extreme, making it non list worthy. However, as I progress to learn the first half, it get very interesting.. The first half is four times harder than the other, and I’ll tell you every part I rant about and got me exasperated. 15-42 is pure skill, luck and timing based all at once it’s unbelievable how I managed to get accustomed to this. Starting at 15-17: the ship is the sole reason that made me hate this level as much as I hate playing with PP3. In comparison to those two, they have all timing and luck based parts you will always die at. To rephrase this, it’s basically attempt grinding when it comes to parts like these. Why does 18-21 even exist like do I have to say anything about it? I mean, I had fair shares of rng orb timings, but this takes the cake. 22-26 isn’t as bad as the others but still lives up to my expectations of it being pure dogshit. The first taps are hard to be precise and quick if you are not fond of quick tapping. The rest has many tight gaps that I kept dying for no reason. 27-31 is straightforward but the wave is kinda painful if you keep dying there by nerves (don’t ask me why). 32-34 has a wonky dual I kept dying at the first and last jump a bunch of times. At 37-42, goofy ahh ship. Nothing much to be specific other than it being an abominable one. The other parts like the first cube is easy in an unbalanced way are fine but one has a frame perfect jump, I reckon. The other reason I disapprove of this is my luck. I would’ve fluke this from 59 if it weren’t for the slope bug at 92, but I found a way to avoid it afterwards. Unfortunately my luck didn’t stop damaging my sanity. I kept dying at the second half a lot, some of the chokepoint deaths, some of the wave deaths, and some of nerve deaths. Other than those, dying at the slow ship is slowly testing my patience, as usual. By this, I was starting to lose my faith and consistency in this level, until I unprecedentedly brought it to an end. I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to levels that are both first and second half heavy. Either way, it doesn’t change my opinions on whether it’s a good level as a whole. As I said at the beginning, it gets extremely harder to progress when you learn all the parts. This felt harder than PP3 since I had a similar experience with it. This level, without exception, did a huge number on me. Don’t suggest going for this for your sake.
