Kerala Blasters have already started their preparation for their match against Delhi Dynamos on Sunday. Kerala Blasters FC is one of the teams that will compete in the newly formed Hero Indian Super League. The team is co-owned by Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar and Prasad V. Potluri (Chairman and Managing Director, PVP Ventures) who brings tremendous business experience as well as a passion for Indian sports. The star power will extend to the pitch, as well. David James, the former Liverpool and England goalkeeper, has a dual role with the club, as the team’s marquee player as well as its manager. Ex-Newcastle United player, Michael Chopra, will also add to an immensely talented Indian contingent of players who include the likes of Nirmal Chettri and Sandip Nandy.
