Fave VGM #798: "Into the Fray" ~ Jack Wall

Jade Empire is a Wuxia style game set in mythical China where mythology lives. While I tend to play the PS2 game "Genji: Dawn of the Samurai" more, I still do have fun with Jade Empire. It has gorgeous visuals, in-depth battle engine incorporating different fighting styles, and a cool soundtrack. This track is particular stands out for me. The percussion sounds playing in the first half is very primal and exciting. Then during the second half, other instruments come in and compliments the percussion which makes it very empowering. I love tracks which starts out simple but ends with such power.
