P0300 Random Misfire Code 2004 Pontiac Sunfire Tips HD

Today we have this 2004 Pontiac Sunfire with a 2.2L EcoTech engine with a customer complaint of it running rough, poor gas mileage, and no power when you hit the throttle. We did a quick visual inspection, looked for vacuum leaks, and even pulled the upstream O2 sensor suspecting the catalytic converter being plugged. After all that we hooked up a scan tool and got the P0300 Random/ Multiple misfire code. I searched for hours trying to find good info, diagrams, ect for testing primary and secondary ignition components. Heres a quick tip video showing you how to do this at home with only a test light.
