There have been Four people working with Sony, and then one outside of the company, who have all claimed a PlayStation State of Play show was due to take place this week, which was posted in a report from Game Reactor. However, they also said some of the developers who were due to show off their games, including those from PlayStation Studios and other third-party studios, would like the show to be delayed so it doesn’t take the spotlight away from the awful stuff happening right now with what is happening in Russia and Ukrain. Discussions are now taking place to potentially delay the show by “a week or two”, but the State of Play should still take place before the end of March. So I wanted to go over the stuff we can expect to be announced. Both Gran Turismo 7 and Horizon Forbidden West are out and people are having a blast playing them, so the exclusives sony has yet to reveal to any of us may be shown. Sony doesn’t have any upcoming first-party titles with fixed release dates, so it may be a bit far fetched, but it would be nice, especially with the sly cooper stuff floating around. Either way This gives plenty of opportunity for announcements on games like God of War Ragnarok, which I think is safe to say is a game a lot of us are looking forward to. The rumors of Project Spartacus could also get an announcement. But the big one for me personally is games like Hogwarts Legacy, which is expected to show up. Hogwarts Legacy has me really excited because as much as I love Sony and want a PS5, I dont have one & Hogwarts legacy is a game thats coming to PC, so I can actually play that and enjoy it. Sony also just released there new Linkbuds which are there wireless earbud headphones, so maybe something on those and a benefit for people on PS5 getting them. Ill have a link to them in the description, I got myself a pair and really like them, they dont have as much bass as I like, but thats just a personal thing. Gotham Knights & an update on Sonys portable console patent would also nice to get an update on as well honestly, even if its a statement saying the patent isnt a new handheld.
