Zoom F8 Timecode test HD
Test of the timecode stability of the new Zoom F8. Here is a Denecke TS-3, a Nomad 10, and a Zoom F8. The Nomad played master to jam the other 2 a minute before starting this shoot. This is timelapse shot over 6 hours. One photo every 7 seconds. It should make it easy to pause or scroll through and see the numbers clearly. RESULTS: The Zoom F8 seems to have very stable timecode. All three devices were in sync throughout the 6 hour run. The displays on the recorders have a slight bit of latency compared to the Denecke. I believe this is a well known issue with LCD displays. The music is one of my songs: https://soundcloud.com/dpowellsound/summer-must-stop Timelapse shot on Canon T2i with Tamron 28-75 lens around 50mm. 1600 ISO, f8, 1/400 shutter.
