NIKE ZOOM PEGASUS SHIELD 34 - FIRST IMPRESSIONS #notspon HD

I have been waiting to go in my first run in the Nike Zoom Pegasus 34 Shield for a while now. And with the marathon over, and with a rainy day that would set rainfall records in Chicago, this was the perfect chance. Since then, I’ve had two pairs of the 32s, 2 pairs of the 33s, and 3 pairs of the 34s. In addition, I ran all winter last year in the Zoom Pegasus 33 Shield. And now, I am very excited to try out the Zoom Pegasus 34 Shield. The 34 Shield is my favorite in the line. I think it is the most comfortable Zoom Pegasus, but it still feels light, supportive, and fast. For today’s run, it’s not quite cold enough to comment on cold weather performance. But it rained like crazy all day, and even though I thought it might be letting up when I initially headed out for the run, but the time I was done, I was thoroughly soaked all over. That being said, my feet felt great. I even accidentally ran through a huge puddle of water that was several inches deep. Just couldn’t avoid it. And it wasn’t until I hit some swampy grass around mile 7 that my feet started to feel squishy. By the end of my run, I definitely could feel that my feet were soaked with each stride, but by then, I had been outside for about an hour, and the rest of me was soaked to the bone. I don’t exactly look forward to frigid temps and running in gloves, and a hat, and a neck cover, and tons of layers, but I do look forward to running in these Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 34 Shield. It’s going to be a good running winter.
