Ardbeg Grooves Committee Release Single Malt Scotch Nose: A smoky boathouse with marine notes and brine….reminds me of my U.S Coast Guard days in Cuba. Fennel, nutmeg, hemp, red pepper flakes, and slight cinnamon. Dark chocolate mocha, paprika, black licorice, blackberries, with slight hints of mint. Slight old spice deodorant, flannel shirt, woody oak, and some floral lilies. Cured meat and honeyed ham, bonfire and s’mores with the graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate. Earthy and leather notes with fresh layed black top tar and vanilla Cavendish pipe tobacco, and orange oil. Palate: Dark chocolate mocha, black licorice, blackberries, with slight hints of mint. Slight old spice deodorant, flannel shirt, woody oak, and some floral lilies.
