Whitesnake - Is this love (1985 demos in progress !)

Whitesnake - Is this love (1985 demos in progress !) One more demo of one of the anthems from the "1987" album (one of the biggest hard rock selling of all time with more than 20 million copies so far (so good)). I made a mistake on the screen presentation of this video : Coverdale was requested by EMI (his record company for Europe) to write a song for Tina Turner (who was on the same label at the time) BUT his US record company was of course Geffen. Anyway, after hearing John Sykes marvellous guitar work on his basic keyboard riff, DC decided the song was too good not to use for Whitesnake ! Speaking of Sykes, listen to his soulful clean guitar work (played on a Fender Stratocaster, not his black Les Paul Custom), a real departure from his usual style indeed. We miss you, John !!!
