Nigeria and Croatia fans ready for WC match in Kaliningrad
(16 Jun 2018) Croatian and Nigerian fans danced together in the main square of Kaliningrad on Saturday, hours before the two national sides face off in their opening world cup game. Meanwhile, Nigerian fans shrugged off the decision by Russian authorities to ban them from taking live chickens into the stadium – a tradition in Nigerian football. Some fans sometimes dye chickens in the national colours as a good luck symbol, including those from Nigeria.
