Adam Ondra | CZE IFSC Climbing World Cup Moscow 2019 - Men Bouldering Finals Report & Analysis by Beta Routesetting SPOILER: After a superior win in Meiringen Adam Ondra was again the big favorite in Moscow. A pretty hard semi final round beat down most other competitors and Adam was the only one topping 4 boulders. None of last weeks finalists made it again into the finals and we saw many new faces: Vadim Timonov in his second WC final after Chongqing in 2015 & two debuts: Anze Peharc & 16 year old Rei Kawamata: 2018 World B Youth Champion in his first senior year & second worldcup made it straight into the finals! Jernej Kruder found his way back into finals starting first... Boulder 1 was a great boulder, split the field pretty good and tricky but yet powerful - amazing to watch! Boulder 2 reminded me slightly of the women final, athletic & powerful but not as complex or tricky than the others... some more spice wouldn´t have been to bad... Boulder 3 on the other hand was a delicate slab where you could fall of any time if you didn´t find the right body position.
