22 октября 2019 года в Дежурную часть полиции Махачкалы обратился житель столицы республики. 56-летний мужчина рассказал о том, что накануне, неизвестный мужчина, угрожая ножом, забрал принадлежащие ему деньги. Заявитель пояснил, что занимается частным извозом. Утром 22 октября, один из клиентов, под предлогом того, что не имеет при себе деньги для оплаты проезда, попросил отвезти его в поселок Ленинкент за деньгами. Доехав до одной из тупиковых улиц, откуда не было проезда, пассажир начал душить водителя, и, угрожая ножом, потребовал деньги. Таким образом, применив насилие, опасное для жизни и здоровья, он завладел деньгами в сумме 20 тысяч рублей, банковской картой и паспортом гражданина РФ на имя пострадавшего. Принятыми мерами за "дежурные сутки" сотрудниками отдела уголовного розыска установлен и доставлен в отдел полиции 25-летний житель села Хаджалмахи Левашинского района, который признался в содеянном.
