This song was written in early 2011. When Blackpool Football Club and the town itself was riding on the Roller Coaster ride that was their moment in the sun. Their season in the Premier League. It was a personal Thank you. A musical appreciation of what, Ian Holloway, his players, the Club and the Fans achieved and for Illuminating not just The Golden mile but the whole town and its inhabitants. Now 4 years on. The songs intention is slightly different in tone. Its soul purpose now, is to remind us of our Tangerine dreams that have been so callously ripped from our public consciousness. It is now a "Call to Arms" in the hope that the song will Unite those who experienced the sheer joy. Man, Woman and child and help them strive in whatever way necessary to rid the tyranny that brought our Beloved Football Club and Town to rack and ruin. Blackpool. This Song is now yours.
