Wrestling Bios Presents - Looking Back at WCW World Tour and WCW Revenge During their height of popularity in the world of professional wrestling, WCW partnered up with AKI corporation to release a bunch of WCW wrestling games for the Playstation and the Nintendo 64. While the PS1 got the first ever licensed AKI game in the form of WCW vs The World, the N64 sequels were much better. WCW vs nWo World Tour and WCW / nWo Revenge are well remembered as some of the best wrestling games to ever get released. Both WCW World Tour and WCW Revenge feature a robust roster that not only includes legendary superstars such as Sting, Hulk Hogan, and Macho Man Randy Savage, but they also include superstars from Japanese promotions such as FMW, NJPW and AJPW. In Japan, the games were released under the Virtual Pro Wrestling Banner, featuring a much different roster in comparison to the American Releases. With this in mind, the WCW releases in the States and in Europe are still very much loved by wrestling fans.
