Airbus Helicopters Innovation Press Conference, Heli-Expo 2019 HD

The Vertical Flight Society recorded a number of media events at the Helicopter Association International (HAI) Heli-Expo 2019 trade show held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. On Wednesday afternoon, March 6, 2019, we recorded the Innovation press conference given by Thomasz Krysinski, Head of Research & Innovation, Airbus Helicopters. Krysinski spoke about the Airbus H160 technology; the Airbus technology roadmap; BlueCopter and H145 upgrade; VTOL "technobricks"; Demonstrator programs; Vahana eVTOL; CityAirbus eVTOL; VSR700 military UAV; autonomy levels; and the eVTOL outlook. Almost half of the 41-minute press conference presentation was devoted to answering questions from aerospace journalists. In addition, we recorded MD Helicopters, Robinson and Sikorsky announcements, the Bell Nexus Partner Panel discussion and spoke with Heli-Expo exhibitors such as Jeffrey Bennett, SureFly Project Manager.
