Sump tank pumped dry. Aquaponic stuff up averted. HD

Had a mini crisis with the aquaponic system today when the radial flow solids filter backed up & overflowed. This led to the sump tank being pumped dry & may have caused some damage to the pump. The stuff up was caught in time & the backup air was switched on so the fish are all fine. Will be buying some float switches to set up a multi purpose back up fail safe this weekend.
