Guitar solo I recorded for the John Browne Solo contest. For the first half of the solo, I am mostly playing in the E phrygian dominant scale with a couple of chromatic runs throughout. Once the chords change to the E natural minor, I switch to playing E pentatonic and E minor 7 chords/arpeggios along with the bluesier section at the end which uses the "blues scale" or pentatonic with the added sharp 4.
