2880 sailing drone / sailing robot HD

2880 is a autonomous sailing drone (sailing robot) that races regattas from start to finish. Winner of the World Robot Sailing Championship 2014, WRSC 2014, in the MS class. All boat footage done in autonomous mode. Based on an Arduino platform. Sensors are GPS Adafruit Ultima, CMPS 10 compass, Xbee 60 mW, custom built wind vane on chip AS5030.
