WeDo 2.0 Find Gold HD

This small robotic contraption is a model of an automatic gold scanner on sampled rock formations. It takes samples of rock, a piston pushes them under the scanner which analyzes them and sounds an alarm if gold is found. In any case, the samples (plain or gold are dropped to the collection area and the piston is contracted, ready for the next scan. Programming codes for both LEGO WeDo 2.0 App and Scratch 2.0 can be found at the end of the video The automation is based on the inner workings of the motion detector which works based on infrared rays being absorbed by black colour LEGO blocks.
