WeDo 2.0 Mini Lathe HD

One can use this mini-lathe for educational purposes, to show how a real size lathe works. Shown here are ping-pong balls painted with coloured felt tip markers during lathe revolutions. I experimented also with finger-size-cut wet floral foam (styrofoam) and a sharp pencil (not shown in this video). The glass shown is used as a weight to keep the light material in place, to work with when small pressure is applied.
