Purism develops privacy respecting laptop computers - they source the hardware components and pair it with their own Linux fork designed to completely protect user privacy. It even has a physical switch to disconnect the webcam and microphone. Because they source all of the hardware components they also have complete control of the drivers that are being used with those computers.
