Miroslav Vitous: Dolores

Miroslav gets help from Joe Zawinul, Billy Cobham and John McLaughlin on his largely forgotten 1970 album Purple. From this embryonic half-Weather report, half-Mahavishnu Orchestra constellation the framework of things to come is sketched out. Wayne Shorter, of course, is missing but there is a nod to him in the inclusion of his composition Dolores. The audio has been lifted from vinyl so please excuse the minor crackle.
