!Sooks brings us a 2 track EP, The Kitchen Will Dub, with remixes from Secret Souls and Phasen. Asteroids (Original Mix)-An interlude track consisting of sound clips of every thing you could think of, carefully mapped out musically to where it becomes organized noised. It basically reaches out to space. If this is what music sounds like in space, let’s get to visiting. TKWD (Original Mix)-This track pics up where Asteroids left off. Deep kicks, kitchen sinks, water running and a sexy whispering female in your ear all come at you. The break has a familiar scene in a particular movie in it (we won’t name which one so not as to spoil it for you). Drum work is very good in this one with lush pads and other clicks and noises. TKWD (Secret Souls Edit)-A welcomed edit by Secret Souls. This edit makes it a bit more dance track, less experimental. More chord hits in here and more emphasis on the pads. The whispers are still around as well as some Secret Souls specials scattered about. TKWD (Phasen Remix)-A solid remix by Phasen starting off with a chest pumping kick. A sub bass line, some nice chord stabs and the whispers throughout the track are all vividly present.
