Halfway though, Jiyong shown interest in another person, Yoona. Taeyeon felt jealous and decided to dump him. She soon moves on with Taeyang. One day, Jiyong was performing, Taeyang supports him and Taeyeon was forced to enjoy the performance too. Taeyeon then has a sudden interest for Jiyong again and they got back together without telling Taeyang. Taeyang had caught Taeyeon and Jiyong kissing. He was distraught. However, he soon could not cope without her either so he sent her an IM and asks her to marry him and she agrees. The news of their marriage was not shared to Jiyong.
