Unzip the downloaded binary 2. Copy that folder to a flash drive In Recovery Mode (hold Command +R during boot) perform those commands in the Terminal: 1. Type "cd /" 2. Type "cd Volumes/[name of your flash drive]" 3. Type refind binary folder location 4. Type "./refind-install" to execute an install script 5. Press "Y" in the box there 6. Remove flash drive 7. Reboot the Mac 8. Done! To mount a EFI partition and edit a boot configuration: 1. Open Terminal 2. Type "mkdir mnt" 3. Type "sudo mount -t msdos /dev/disk0s1 mnt" 4. Type "cd ~/mnt/EFI/refind" 5. Type "gedit refind.conf" (use your favorite Text Editor in this case) 6.
