ARINA DOMSKI - 2018 مهرجان ضيافة DIAFA AWARDS Arina Domski’s show was awarded “Arabian Oscar” in fields of arts DIAFA 2018 hosted in Dubai. The annual international awarding ceremony DIAFA which is also very often called “Arabian Oscar” was hosted in Dubai. This year’s ceremony was devoted to His Majesty Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who is the Vice-President and the Prime-Minister of UAE as well as the ruler of the Emirate of Dubai. Her concert program “Opera Show” won the statuette and such a prestigious award for development of the modern culture and popularization of classical music in the modern world as her show is a unique concert program which comprises the original sounding of classics, starting from Handel, Mozart and Tchaikowski up to the modern academic music. Theatrical settings, original stage images – all of this leads the audience through centuries. In 2017 the singer has already brought her show to the major events of the world: opening ceremony of the international economic forum Davos-Dalian, BRICS film festival, anti terrorist forum in Beijing, visited Turkey, China, Spain and France with her concerts. Apart from strong vocal, Arina astonished the sophisticated Arabian audience with her unordinary images, having changed the dressing three times per night. At first she appeared in a dress from a Ukrainian designer on the red carpet and then came to receive the award in a dress from the Arabian designer Marmar Halim. DIAFA 2018 was also awarded to the Lebanese singer Wael Kfoury, Egyptian singer Abu, Turkish actress Elcin Sangu, Tunisian actress Dorra Zarrouk, Palestinian singer Omar Kamal. Last year the award was handed to the major Arabian star – the Lebanese singer Elissa and Turkish actress Nurgul Yesilcay.
