San Diego: School Break In 07202019 HD

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 7-20-19 12:30 am approx LOCATION: Novak Pl. CITY: San Diego DETAILS: SDPD received burglar alarms at Marshall Thurgood Middle School. When they arrived, they could hear someone playing drums inside of the Band Room and when they got in front of the doors, they could hear talking. One of the suspects opened the door to find the officers waiting outside. 3 juveniles and 5 adults were taken into custody. They were at the school for unknown reasons and found a ladder. One of the suspects said he knew how to get into the room through the roof hatch. Nothing was stolen, but they removed a license plate from a school golf cart. They were cited for Trespassing. The juveniles were released to their parents and the adults were released to themselves. All of the adults were 18-years-old.
