Ainol Novo 10 Hero II tablet - Charging problems HD

After ~ 10 months of use, the high-current charge DC input stopped working. When charged via the USB input it works fine, but when charged via the faster-charge input (I think it is ~2 A, vs. ~0,5 A) the tablet randomly stops the charge process. Here I am using the original charger from Ainol, but I have tried with other compatible chargers. I guess there is a problem with the connector inside the tablet. Update 2014-05: Fixed it myself, works like a charm now! After being ignored (despite many attempts) both by the store (ainolstore.com) and the manufacturer (Ainol) I fixed it myself. Just open the tablet, unplug and remove the screen and re-solder the DC-input connector. I also solved a different problem: the battery would discharge too fast, even with the tablet turned off. The two cables feeding DC to the battery where poorly isolated, so adding some duct tape between them to keep them isolated seemed to fix the issue. In summary: poor construction quality by Ainol and poor customer support by Ainol and ainolstore.com.
