Glass Effect Photoshop ((Wet Glass Effect))

In this glass effect Photoshop tutorial, I’ll show you how to create a pass-through filter effect. Photographers sometimes use things like glass, fabric, and other items to create a special effect in-camera. In this tutorial, I’ll use a glass effect to make it look as if the camera is focusing past a textured piece of glass. In the first section, I’ll show you how to create the pattern that we will use in the filter gallery to get a specific style of glass. A flowing wave style similar to antique and textured specialty glass. The second part of the glass effect Photoshop tutorial will focus on applying the pattern to the image. We will apply double patterns for a complicated more abstract look as well as a simplified version that is more like something you would see as a photography filter. The pattern I create in the first part of the tutorial is available for download on prettywebz.com. Keep in mind you can make any design or pattern you wish as long as you save it as a PSD file to be loaded into the filter gallery as a pattern or displacement map.
