Designer - Panda - DJ Chad / Curtis & Carola Urban Kiz Dance @ OnTheWave 2017 HD

A cool dance demo showing the urban kiz choreo Curtis & Carola were teaching, then some improvisation. And then everybody doing the choreo together! I admit I was sleeping - and arrive late for the first class, but man, there were many people who were learning the moves hard… This was a cool concept as small choreos in music, can help you practice musicality! … The best lesson from their classes actually came from dancing with Carola. She joined the circle and danced with guys. Its super helpful. One thing they kept repeating is chest connection. I was surprised because urbankiz is kinda open. But no, for basics you must have connection the same way. Duly noted ;) But the main lesson was during their musicality class. Curtis was leading steps by - Go/Stop/Go/Contra-Tempo/Stop. When dancing with Carola, she really tensed body when Curtis said stop. She tensed it so clearly that there was no question in my head about stoping. So yes, now when indicating stops i really work on tensing my body (not squeezing the girl or hand). Still need to work on it... but a great little lesson :) They are a really good couple, where classes are super useful for both ladies and men!
