The Souls of War is the latest expansion for Perfect World Mobile (完美世界手游) in China arriving on March 31, 2020. The expansion adds several new features to the game including a brand new class, new strategic and cross-server PVP league, new dungeon and bosses, a sport event, and more. BACKSTORY It is said that the towering giant sword in the Etherblade City known is a legendary weapon honored by the God of the Sword, and the person who serves this sword will be called as the Servant of the Sword. However, the cataclysm of the Sea of Blood broke out—bringing the Humans into the brink of extinction. The gods incarcerated the God of the Sword by a mysterious power, which Jianshi spared no effort to break, as he admire the legendary sword. In order to quell the calamity, the God of the Sword uses his own body to open up a foothold in the void—sacrificing his own soul and joined forces with few swordsmen. Through this alliance, the God of the Sword allowed the swordsmen to perceive and use the power of his soul, hence becoming the people of "Soul Deed" (魂契). As another calamity approaches Perfect World, the rebirth of the Soul quenches the wrath of the gods. NEW CLASS: Soul Deed Basically, the Soul Deed class manipulates the the power of the soul, giving them the ability to use such power both to strengthen and defend themselves.
