Rudy Froeschle, World War II veteran, B-17 pilot, ex-POW, a hero and someone I am proud to call a friend. Rudy gave me a DVD of an interview that was done back in 2009. It was filmed at the Andersonville POW Museum in Andersonville, GA on February 16, 2009. I converted it and posted it here because it tells the amazing story of this man in his own words. He spent 601 days as a prisoner of war in WWII Germany after being shot down on his second mission. This is history. Not the kind you read in a book or watch in a movie. Real history, told by the man who lived it. To the young men and women in the world today, listen to the senior citizens because they lived what you can only hear about.
