World War II Arnhem veteran Des Page makes emotional Heroes Return to 70 commemorations HD

A BRIDGE TOO FAR Commemorating the 70th anniversary in Arnhem this weekend, WW2 veteran Glider Pilot Des Page, 91, gives a moving account of his part in ‘Operation Market Garden’, the largest airborne operation in history and one of the most momentous of the Allied offensives in the Second World War. Des will join 137 veterans from across the UK supported under the Big Lottery Fund’s Heroes Return scheme to pay his respects to the many who lost their lives in the battle.
