Noise against partials: binaural spatialized procedural audio models in Unity HD

21.08.2017
Noise Against Partials is the title of my MSc in Sound Design (University of Edinburgh) final project. All the sounds were synthesized in real time by using Pure Data, the Heavy Audio Compiler and Wwise. The patches were finally spatialized using Google VR. There are two main techniques used to build the procedural models: - Band-passed white noise for the footsteps, water and wind. - Modal synthesis for the wooden bridge, bell and wine glass. You can download the executable and try it by yourself here: Windows 64bits: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AlqWNz0dC1jcgdE6x6wOIU-6d2Bgow Oculus Rift - Windows 64bits (beware of the motion sickness): https://1drv.ms/u/s!AlqWNz0dC1jcgdE5jGrNqI3dObPhIA
