The phone has side buttons made of aluminum and a 1 mm silver ring around the rear camera. The Lumia 950 XL was codenamed Cityman and previously, it was believed that it will be branded Lumia 940 XL. The phablet will be released along with the smaller version which has been codenamed Talkman. The Lumia 950 XL will feature a 5.7-inch AMOLED display with QHD resolution, which gives a pixel density of 515ppi. Under the hood will hide a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 chipset which will be powered by a quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and a quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57 CPU. The graphics will be Adreno 430 and they will be backed by 3GB of RAM, so we’re expecting a decent performance from this hardware configuration. The internal memory is of 32GB and comes with a MicroSD card slot. The rear camera will be PureView 20MP, it will have Carl Zeiss optics and will support optical image stabilization, autofocus, dual-LED flash, 1/2.5” sensor size, 1.12 µm pixel size etc. As for the front camera, it will be 5MP. The battery will be removable and its capacity will be 3300mAh.
