Test and comparison: ADJ "Micro Phase" vs. Eurolite "Mini FE-3" LED Moonflower Effects

Test and comparison of two LED moonflower light effects that seem to be similar on the first view. The American DJ (ADJ) "Micro Phase" comes with 1 3-W-RGB-LED, while the Eurolite "Mini LE-3" is equipped with 3-W-RGBWAP-LED: Red, green, blue, white, amber and purple. Both are sound-controlled, no DMX and the sensitivity ist adjustable in both. The FE-3 has another option: Auto mode (speed adjustable) or sound controlled. In my eyes big advance of the ADJ Micro Phase: Some kind of auto blackout - when the bass or music stops, it stops lighting until music becomes louder again. Furthermore, the strobe effect of the Micro Phase looks a bit better. Eurolite FE-3: Nearly no pure colours, many of the preset pattern combine two or three colours, e.g. green seems underrepresented. In the end, both effects are beautiful and you have to find the one that fits to you.
